The Chicago Bears’ offseason asking price for quarterback Justin Fields is now known to the Pittsburgh Steelers, should they want to pursue a trade for Fields. Many speculate that the Bears, who own the top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, may recruit Caleb Williams, the quarterback for USC. They would deal Fields to a new team with that move, and the Steelers would become an exciting team to watch right away.

It’s now believed that Chicago will want for something other than a first-round pick, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. “The consensus in an informal poll of league evaluators is that Fields would be worth a second- or third-round pick in a pre-draft trade,” writes Fowler.

With Mason Rudolph, the Steelers are dominating Week 18 and, if they advance, might even make the playoffs. The move raises a number of concerns for this summer, such as what will happen to Kenny Pickett, whether or not Rudolph will start in the starting lineup next season, and whether or not they plan to look for a different quarterback. The Steelers should be among the teams bidding for the Chicago quarterback Fields if he becomes available this spring.
