Iamaleava’s potential is as great as anyone in the class of 2023, and he just keeps getting better. In addition to being a brilliant quarterback, he is also a remarkable volleyball player, and he has an athletic 6-5 build. has improved significantly in the past year in terms of his pocket feel, timing, and anticipation. Although he has always had a large arm, he can now change directions, progress, and make perfect touch throws down the field appear simple. He is extremely evasive and equally deadly when he is not in the pocket as when he is in it. When flushed or on intentional running plays, he always poses a danger to break loose and gain significant yardage.In addition, he’s a tough young man who won’t back down from a challenge. Long before he accepted his first football scholarship offer, Nicholaus Iamaleava got scholarship offers in volleyball. Some volleyball observers believe that Iamaleava is the nation’s best high school volleyball prospect. As a freshman, he participated in varsity volleyball at Long Beach Poly, one of the best high school teams in the nation. Iamaleava changed schools before his junior season began, going from Poly to Downey (Calif.) Warren. Matt, his older brother, played volleyball for Poly and was an All-American in high school. He currently attends Long Beach State. Nicaylah, his sister, is a Cypress College volleyball player.Iamaleava has seven siblings in total, and they are all exceptional in some way. Nic and Marleinna Iamaleava are his parents. At the close of 2020, his mother received a stage four breast cancer diagnosis, and the neighbourhood came together to collect thousands of dollars to help her battle the illness. Iamaleava intends to study business as her major. He lists training his pets and playing video games as his hobbies.
