Houston — The 49ers’ Brock Purdy may have to deal with “The Problem” when they play the Lions in the NFC Championship Game: James Houston IV. James Houston IV, a former edge rusher at Jackson State, was injured in Week 2 in Seattle and was out for the remainder of the season until today. “The Problem” will be available for the Detroit Lions to use against the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 NFC Championship Game. Saying “Yes Sir, Big Chance!” to HBCU Legends, Houston is prepared. Houston was kept out of the NFC Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend by head coach Dan Campbell. Houston stated to the Detroit Free Press, “I’m ready to get out there,” on his chances in that contest.
