Report: If Bayern Munich really wants FC Barcelona's Ronald Araújo, he might be available - Bavarian Football Works

According to the tabloid, Emery believes the Uruguayan may be Pau Torres’ long-term partner and might take Diego Carlos’ place, who AC Milan is reportedly targeting.

For the first time in forty-one years, Aston Villa has qualified for the Champions League, and they are motivated, under Unai Emery, to bolster their team once more in order to establish themselves as a top team.

Although the Villains have been among the most reliable teams in the division, their defense has occasionally been a weakness this year. This was demonstrated by their 5-1 loss to Newcastle and their 4-0 home loss to Tottenham at different times during the season, as well as by their 4-2 home loss to Olympiakos in the Europa Conference League and their 5-0 loss on the final day of play.

The West Midlands team is eager to sign Barcelona center back Ronald Araujo in order to address their defensive deficiencies, as they have given up 61 goals in 38 league games, according to claims from Spanish publication Sport.

Araujo joined the Barcelona first team that won the La Liga title in 2023 under Xavi’s leadership. He has been a regular member of the first team since 2020. To unseat Real Madrid, the Catalan giants are eager to add players of their own, and they might utilize the money collected by Arajuo to improve other parts of the field.

Barca is willing to cash in on Araujo because they already have players that can play center defense, including Jules Kounde, Andreas Christensen, and 17-year-old breakout star Pau Cubarsi, according to sources from Metro.

In 20 league games this season, the 24-year-old—who is thought to be one of Wolves’ most exciting offensive options—has contributed nine assists and two goals. The five-time Portuguese international is a sought-after target for Newcastle, who are reportedly considering sending Miguel Almiron to Saudi Arabia because of his flair and ability to run at players.
