I attempt to consider a broader reading audience while composing our annual reports on the Tigers farm system, since they might not be as acquainted with the players as our regulars or prospect hounds in general. Prospects are, as they say, a volume business, and these reports seem to have a theme of volume. Since we want to reintroduce these guys before discussing their tools and current trajectory, there is a lot to read here. The Tigers system has a respectable amount of talent that is almost major league ready, as was said in the introduction to this year’s ranking. This season, ten of the top twelve players have at least a chance to make an impact at the big league level.
