Wide receiver Cornelius Johnson, now one of JJ McCarthy’s favorite targets, will be leaving Michigan football once the 2023 campaign ends. Roman Wilson must make an NFL choice, but it’s widely believed that Michigan will also need to find a successor for him if the Wolverines want to compete for a championship after the Big Ten and College Football Playoffs expand in the autumn of 2019.
According to a recent report from Hayes Fawcett of On3, Michigan football is in communication with Chris Brazzell II, a large wide receiver from Tulane, who is a top transfer portal target.
Brazzell II is currently ranked as a four-star transfer, No. 10 wideout, and No. 47 overall prospect in the 247 Sports transfer portal rankings. Chris Brazzell II caught 44 passes this season for over 700 yards and five touchdown receptions in his debut year of collegiate football.
As a transfer, he is currently attracting a lot of attention across the country. He has been in communication with the Michigan football coaching staff as the Wolverines get ready for the Rose Bowl.
Chris Brazzell II, who is six feet five inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, plans to transfer after using up his remaining three years of eligibility.
