Does Sean Payton have the same sentiments, one may wonder? When the Broncos signed the young journeyman backup last year, he hyped up Stidham, touting his qualities as a starting quarterback and all that, but when it came down to it, and Payton started him in the starting lineup to close the season, it was the height of replacement-level quarterbacking.
