American football running back Kareem AJ Hunt was born on August 6, 1995, and he plays for the National Football League (NFL) Cleveland Browns. The Kansas City Chiefs selected him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft while he was a college football player for the Toledo Rockets. After leading the NFL in rushing yards as a rookie, he was chosen for the Pro Bowl. However, he was cut during his second season after it was discovered that he had physically abused a woman, pushing her to the ground and then kicking her. Hunt played for the Cleveland Browns for five seasons after signing with them in 2019.
Hunt was an athlete for the Rebels football team at South High School in Willoughby, Ohio, where he attended.[1] In his junior year, he ran for 2,519 yards and 39 touchdowns; in his senior year, he ran for 2,685 yards and 44 touchdowns.[2] Hunt committed to play collegiate football at the University of Toledo after being rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.
2013 saw Hunt play in 12 games for Toledo as a freshman. In those games, he made three starts and ran for 866 yards on 137 rushes with six touchdowns. With 127 running yards and two touchdowns against Navy, 114 rushing yards and a score against Bowling Green, 168 rushing yards and two touchdowns against Eastern Michigan, and 186 rushing yards and a touchdown against Buffalo, he had a fantastic four-game stretch throughout the season.[5][6][7][8][9] He participated in ten games as a sophomore, missing three because of injury. He ran for at least 101 yards in each of the ten games in which he played. On 205 carries, he gained 1,631 yards of total yardage and 16 touchdowns.[10][11] He was the 2015 GoDaddy Bowl MVP.
