Following Nick Saban’s announcement of his retirement, certain players from the Alabama football programme are currently leaving the team. Although athletes are just searching the NCAA Transfer Portal for greater possibilities, Kalen DeBoer remains an excellent coach. Because of Steve Sarkisian’s talent and background, the Texas football programme is one of these places. Additionally, Quinn Ewers’ offence has shown to be successful. This could be the cause of Amari Niblack’s choice.

After numerous departures, the Texas football team is about to welcome a new tight end. According to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports, Quinn Ewers’ new weapon for the Longhorns’ 2024 bid for a national championship is Amari Niblack. Although he had already committed to and participated in several snaps for the Alabama football team, he was destined not to follow the current path.

Jalen Milroe completed 20 passes for him, resulting in 327 yards. He was equally productive in the end zone against Alabama. Niblack finished the season with four touchdowns. The Texas football team will receive not only top-notch production, but also an additional member who has been a part of a winning culture. Niblack won the SEC with the Crimson Tide and was one victory away from playing for the national championship in the College Football Playoffs.

Ja’Tvion Sanders is scheduled to be selected by the NFL. This indicates that Niblack joins a Texas football team in desperate need of a tight end. He does a great job of filling that role. Furthermore, Isaiah Bond, who also transferred from the Crimson Tide to the Longhorns due to the NCAA Transfer Portal, will not be leaving him alone.

Now, Ewers in the Texas football offence has a wealth of skilled receivers at his disposal thanks to Steve Sarkisian. Silas Bolden from Oregon State and Matthew Golden from Houston are on their way to them. What Sarkisian has in his arms is an experienced squad. Come January of next year, hopefully, this will be the one to snag them a national title.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) – Angel Reese had 20 points and 17 rebounds, Aneesah Morrow had 20 points and 11 boards, and No. 10 LSU rode a dominant third quarter to a 78-58 victory over Alabama on Thursday night.

Reese and Morrow scored eight points apiece in the third, when the Tigers (17-2, 4-1 Southeastern Conference) outscored the Crimson Tide (15-5, 2-3) 26-10.

LSU, which trailed by a point at halftime, bounced back from a 67-62 loss a few hours’ drive away at Auburn that snapped a 16-game winning streak.

“I told them in the locker room, when you come off a loss and you’ve got to turn around and you go back on the road, those are hard games to win,” Kim Mulkey, the Tigers coach, said. “Because you are ignorant of your team’s psychology. You can’t tell if they’re feeling insecure about themselves or if they’re confident at the moment.

“You learn a lot about your team, and I learned a lot tonight.”

In Alabama, Reese and Morrow saved the Tigers from yet another disappointment. After committing two fouls and playing just ten minutes in the first half, Reese scored thirteen points in the second half. In addition to scoring 13 points after the break, Morrow now has 1,000 career rebounds.

This season, LSU has had several players post double-doubles for the ninth time.

Alabama’s Aaliyah Nye led the team with her 18 points, all of which came from 3-point range (4 of 8).

According to Flau’jae Johnson of LSU, “it wouldn’t have been close if she hadn’t had eighteen points.” “I took that personally and thought, ‘She’s not going to score again.'” She failed to score once more.

Johnson added 11 points, and Mikaylah Williams finished with 14 points for LSU.

Alabama was outrebounded 53–37 by LSU.

Guard Hailey Van Lith of LSU stated, “That was a great win for us from a team standpoint, coming off a tough loss for us and a poor performance for our team.” “That was directed towards us. That was our way of showcasing our abilities and identity.

“That was a get-back game for us, and I think we accomplished that.”

Alabama led 35–34 at the end of the first half after scoring the last eight points. With two seconds remaining, Nye hit two of his three free shots.
