It’s ironic that most baseball players—at least those who play for the Braves—want to be golfers since they frequent the game. Notable golf enthusiasts include Matt Olson, Collin McHugh, Austin Riley, and Michael Harris II.

The third baseman for Atlanta most recently called out Bryson DeChambeau for hitting a ball at 205 mph when he was capable of hitting 204 mph. Just goes to demonstrate how genuinely exceptional these athletes are: Austin Riley and J.T. Realmuto, the National League’s athlete, were selected for the MLB Pro Bowl.

With two spaces remaining and a lot of talented high school quarterbacks who could play an athlete’s position, I couldn’t resist adding Realmuto to the squad. With enough of arm strength to cover quarterback duties, he and Riley both appear like they’d fit in well in a tight end or linebacker role.

Riley played quarterback in prep school before switching to baseball for his last two years of high school, during which he continued to punt for the football team. As a punter, he was all-state and, had he made it to school, had a walk-on offer from Mississippi State, where his father had punted. However, the Braves made sure that didn’t happen. Even though 7-on-7 doesn’t have a kicking game, Riley was one of the first two names that sprang to mind when I started creating my teams, and I like having that element covered.

There are a few players on the Braves that could likely perform well on the football field. Ronald Acuna Jr. and Michael Harris II have the athleticism to accomplish anything at an exceptionally high level, in my opinion.

Some find Austin Riley’s athleticism surprising, yet when it comes to sprint speed, he’s among the Braves’ fastest players. Not to add that at 240 pounds, he’s a real burden. Yes, despite weighing 35 pounds more than Ronald Acuıa Jr., he is outrunning him.

Ray’s grandfather, Charles Steele Jr., is the president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), an African American civil rights organization based in Atlanta. Its first president was none other than Dr. King himself.

Dr. King assembled a group of other Black church leaders in January 1957, in the wake of the historic Montgomery bus boycott triumph, to form an organisation dedicated to coordinating and bolstering nonviolent efforts to desegregate bus systems throughout the South. They would soon make the decision to shift the organization’s emphasis to eradicating discrimination in all its forms.

Ray remarked, “I learned a lot.” Where he was raised, his past behaviours, and his way of thinking Furthermore, my grandfather’s style of thinking is somewhat more like him because he has to; after all, he was once in his shoes. It’s quite a bit. And I’m grateful that I can witness it.
