Jurgen Klopp sends Liverpool transfer hint amid Leicester City links
The latest Leicester City news as the club were one of two Championship sides said to be looking at a possible loan deal for Liverpool’s Jarell Quansah.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made hints about the club’s intention to retain onto Jarrell Quansah, who is connected to Leicester City, once the January transfer window closes.
Prior to the winter transfer window, it was reported that Preston North End and City, two Championship rivals, were interested in loaning out the 20-year-old defender. However, it appears that Liverpool might decide to retain the player at Anfield till the end of the campaign.
Although Quansah has started more games in the Europa League from the beginning this season, he has mostly been deployed as a backup. He played the entire ninety minutes in his most recent outing, which was during last week’s 4-0 victory over LASK.
And Klopp was obviously impressed by his performance. “It was just ideal for us. “Jarell had a fantastic game,” he remarked following the contest.
To be honest, the club couldn’t have asked for better news. We should purchase a center-half, people advised us prior to this season. Jarell was among us, we knew.
Did we anticipate his arrival in this manner? Not quite, but we had a good feeling. So it’s a bright future. He is our own boy—calm while handling the ball, adept at taking on difficulties, swift, and merciless when necessary.
“That’s really great news for us because, aside from Caoimh Kelley, the goalkeeper for Liverpool, he had the most amazing defensive situations when he saved our rear end in certain moments.”
The statement made by Ryan Lowe, the manager of Preston, about the defender’s availability in January appears to be supported by Klopp. “He mentioned that Quinsah is an amazing player. “However, assuming he continues to play in the Europa League, I don’t see him leaving Liverpool anytime soon.”It’s likely that he’ll perform tonight, Thursday! Again, I’m not sure where it originated.
