What Huddersfield Town players need to know to defeat Leicester City is imparted by Darren Moore.
Latest Leicester City news as the Huddersfield boss has previewed the challenge lying ahead of his team after City got back to winning ways on Friday night.
Huddersfield Town manager Darren Moore has told his players that all of them need to give ‘ten out of ten’ performances in order to have any hope of getting anything out of the game against Leicester City, who he describes as ‘exceptional’.
Moore brings his Terriers’ side to the King Power Stadium as City return to Leicester after picking up four points from two long away trips over the festive period. They bounced back from the disappointment of conceding a late equaliser against Ipswich on Boxing Day to record a comfortable 2-0 win over Cardiff on Friday night.
That result, coupled with Ipswich’s 0-0 draw with QPR saw City extend their lead at the top of the table to eight points. It’s a gap that they will hope to open wider when they take on Huddersfield on New Year’s Day
Leicester City defender Wout Faes is reportedly a target for Atalanta heading into the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old was among the players expected to leave Leicester following last season’s relegation from the Premier League. The Belgian defender has unexpectedly stuck around and been a key player so far this season for Enzo Maresca’s league leaders.
That could be set to change next month, though, if Serie A club Atalanta get their way. Faes is on a list of centre-back targets for the Italian side heading into the January window, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
