CONGTRATULATIONS: Justin Fields re-new contract with Chicago Bears with an interesting caveat

Since the Chicago Bears selected quarterback Justin Fields in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, he has increasingly demonstrated the leadership qualities of an offensive unit. However, does his increasing efficiency and field maturity justify his stay in Chicago, or is it only increasing his trade value on the open market?
The Bears will almost certainly select first overall from the Carolina Panthers in the upcoming draft this coming year. This implies that they will get first choice over USC quarterback and Heisman Award winner Caleb Williams. It also implies that Fields, a three-year veteran, will face intense pressure to move on.

However, the Bears have choices, and it’s safe to presume that the group is brainstorming ideas for Fields’ future.
Fields could choose to remain where he is as the team keeps developing around him. They might even give up the top pick for the second year in a row in order to add additional talent, drafting a little later in order to acquire more of what they require.

The second option appears to be the more widely accepted and popular choice for the team’s next move. According to a projected trade proposal that was first made public by FanNation Falcon Report, the Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears would get together and trade Justin Fields in a move that would seem to be advantageous for all sides.

“For Fields, the Falcons would trade the Bears a second-round pick this year and a 2025 second-round pick with incentives that could become a first-round pick ‘based on production and playing time.'”
Future quarterback Desmond Ridder, who was rated in the 80s, was benched several times in favour of Taylor Heinicke, who completed less than 60% of his passes. This March, Spotrac says, “it’s a bleak outlook for an otherwise fairly talented roster, begging for an expensive quick fix.”
