Less than two weeks separate the Michigan football team and Alabama football teams for a pivotal Rose Bowl College Football Playoff semifinal match. Quarterback JJ McCarthy will need to have a huge game if the Wolverines are to prevail.

McCarthy was hurt over the last two weeks of the Michigan regular season and conference championship game, and the Wolverines had to modify their offensive approach as a result. He will, however, have a full month to recover before the Rose Bowl.

After winning their third consecutive Big Ten championship, Michigan football took a little hiatus, which gave players like JJ McCarthy a chance to recover fully. He is prepared for the Rose Bowl and feels well now.

McCarthy reportedly remarked, “(I feel) amazing,” according to a Blue By Ninety post. “After that brief week off, I feel absolutely revived, and I can’t wait to play football again tomorrow.

That sums up the team’s current mentality: just getting out there, playing ball, and improving. Right now, I’m 100 percent healthy and doing great. These are the kinds of games you should save your body for, and I’m eager to get outside. I can’t wait to give it my all on this one.
